Seven Hills Medical Centre has been given approval to administer the COVID-19 vaccine. We have been informed that we will be receiving the vaccine stock in the first week of April 2021. Given the initial limited supply being provided to selected medical centres, we will be following the strict eligibility criteria (starting with phase 1B) for the vaccine rollout. Please check our website to stay up to date with the latest information regarding our COVID-19 vaccination program. Please click this Department of Health link to check your eligibility for the vaccine: https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au

The advice regarding who needs to be tested for COVID-19 is constantly evolving as new information arises. At this stage, anyone with even mild respiratory symptoms (e.g. runny nose, cough, sore throat), fever or shortness of breath needs to be tested . This will allow any new cases or outbreaks to be identified and managed as soon as possible. If you have any of the above symptoms , please do not enter the practice . You can book a telehealth consultation and speak directly to the doctor over the phone or through video chat about your symptoms. The doctor can then organise for you to be tested. There is a testing centre across the road from us and also a drive through testing centre in Blacktown. If everyone can strictly adhere to this request, we will be able to ensure a safe environment for all of our patients (especially those who are more vulnerable such as infants, pregnant women, the elderly, Indigenous patients and those with chronic medical conditions). In doing so, we will be able to continue seeing you face-to-face for all of your routine health needs without compromising the health of others or our staff members. If you are unsure about whether it is safe for you to come in, please do not hesitate to contact reception on (02) 9831 2090.
