The advice regarding who needs to be tested for COVID-19 is constantly evolving as new information arises. At this stage, anyone with even mild respiratory symptoms (e.g. runny nose, cough, sore throat), fever or shortness of breath needs to be tested . This will allow any new cases or outbreaks to be identified and managed as soon as possible. If you have any of the above symptoms , please do not enter the practice . You can book a telehealth consultation and speak directly to the doctor over the phone or through video chat about your symptoms. The doctor can then organise for you to be tested. There is a testing centre across the road from us and also a drive through testing centre in Blacktown. If everyone can strictly adhere to this request, we will be able to ensure a safe environment for all of our patients (especially those who are more vulnerable such as infants, pregnant women, the elderly, Indigenous patients and those with chronic medical conditions). In doing so, we will be able to continue seeing you face-to-face for all of your routine health needs without compromising the health of others or our staff members. If you are unsure about whether it is safe for you to come in, please do not hesitate to contact reception on (02) 9831 2090.
